Vermont Renewal

Vermont Renewal/CFACR is a public policy advocacy organization working to promote and protect traditional moral values based on the Judeo-Christian ethic. We believe the family is the most basic unit of society. We believe in the Constitutional principles embodied in the founding of our nation.

A primary emphasis of the Center for American Cultural Renewal and Vermont Renewal will be to train citizens to implement various strategies in their own areas. Grassroots activism has always been a part of the American experience. Today it is more needed than ever.

There is no shortage of critical issues facing our country. There is, however, a need for activists who will stand up for traditional moral values and enter the arena to voice their opinions, and confront these issues.

CFACR is active in:

  1. Education - We educate, inspire, recruit and train grassroots activists with the goal of renewing the culture through the ballot box and personal involvement in public affairs. We want to empower those citizens who are frustrated with the increasingly bankrupt moral and ethical climate in America with knowledge and strategies enabling them to step up, be heard and make a difference.
  2. Networking - We work with like-minded organizations to help with this process. Where new networks are needed, we develop them. Our plan is to mobilize all who catch the vision for cultural renewal into focused efficient action.
  3. Lobbying - We lobby elected and appointed government officials and legislators, encouraging the passage of good laws - laws that promote marriage, families and the welfare of children.

"There's a profound national swing toward conservatism underway; a determined re-evaluation of the assumptions of so-called "current wisdom," a profound searching for what works, for true restoration over the quick-fix, for foundations that can't be shaken, for honor and integrity."
-- Tom Wilson, founder, Take Back Vermont
